BGDC Distribution is Hiring a Loss Prevention Supervisor Near Forest, GA

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and supervise unit’s loss prevention, safety and emergency programs.
  • Supervise, train and support selection of unit’s loss prevention personnel.
  • Administer and involve in unit’s shrinkage supervising and controlling programs.
  • Conduct prevention test along with check program for warehouse.
  • Support loss prevention training and guidance for all various store associates.
  • Supervise surveillance, criminal processing and detention related to theft as well as criminal cases.
  • Provide necessary loss prevention training to all store associates.
  • Develop suggestions for improvements in loss prevention staffing, programs and scheduling.
  • Stimulate company standards pertinent to safety and security procedures.
  • Involve in new hire associates training in matters related to loss prevention.
  • Perform daily, weekly as well as monthly warehouse and office audits pertinent to loss prevention.
  • Conduct safety and security inspections and convey hazards to managers or supervisors on duty.
  • Ensure physical safety to control access of executives and visitors as well as maintain visitor control log.
  • Conduct audits and inspect operational procedures, shortage control procedures and safety issues.
  • Interact everyday with security guards and review alarm problems if any.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Must have at least an Associate’s Degree;
  • Must acquire CPR, basic first aid, and AED certification within 90 days of hire / placement;
  • 1 -2 years of Loss Prevention Supervisor or Asset Protection Supervisor experience in a distribution center, fulfillment center or retail setting;
  • Strong communicator, informal influencer and motivator;
  • Knowledge of investigation/interviewing skills;
  • Must be 18 years of age;
